Charcoal Shaker Kitchen Remodel in Snohomish County

This Snohomish County kitchen was a closed, dated layout that worked against how the family actually cooked and gathered. The goal was a calm, modern kitchen with serious storage, real prep space, and an island big enough to host.

We rebuilt around charcoal shaker cabinetry, quartz counters, and a long waterfall island anchored by three smoked-glass pendants. A full-height arabesque mosaic wraps the cooking wall and ties the room together; a tall pantry run gives the family the storage the original kitchen never had.

The finished space is moody, warm, and highly functional — a daily-use kitchen that still photographs like a feature shoot.
